SABAH DAP would like to thank EPF General Manager, Nik Affendi Jaafar for clarifying the case of Madam Tan Ah Kee whose identification card number is been shared with a man, Mohd Dahlan Saida.
It is saddening that instead of apologising to Madam Tan for the inconvenience caused, Nik Affendi defend his organisation by saying that her case has been solved since April. The fact that Madam Tan came to Sabah DAP for assistance is good enough to inform EPF and the general public that her case is not solved yet. Sabah DAP feels that Madam Tan has no reason to lie that she was asked to refer to Kuala Lumpur about her case. This is a very serious case.
Sabah DAP State Publicity Secretary Dr. Edwin Bosi said, in this saga, Madam Tan has every right to be worried. First, her IC has been hijacked by Mohd Dahlan Saida and second, her employer may run into trouble with EPF if her EPF contribution is not remitted to the EPF office.
Today Mdm Tan is accompanied by KK Youth Chief, Junz Wong and Henry Shim to National Registration Department to verify her identity and has confirmed her status. Therefore it is important for Nik Affendi Jaafar to inform the public what action has been taken against Mohd Dahlan Saida.
The public is interested to know who is Mohd Dahlan Saida? What will happen to the sum money RM29,800.00 in this account? Will this money rightfully be given to Madam Tan?
We want EPF General Manager to investigate how can this happen, and the people demanded a full report on the investigation to be published on how this Mohd Dahlan Saida can be registered as an EPF contributor in order to restore the public’s confidence in EPF.
