THE voting venue for Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) Penampang division has been shifted from its original venue at Taman Starland, Jalan Penampang to Dewan Pagansakan Kg. Inobong, Penampang.
Secretary for PKR Penampang, Franky Lobinjang announced this in a statement issued here today, adding that this was endorsed during its Emergency Meeting held on 13 August.
PKR will be having its election nationwide on this coming Saturday 18 September.
Franky thus reminded its members to come out in full force to take part in the election of its new office bearers on that day, at the said venue, from 10am to 4pm.
There will be a 4-corner fight in the divisional election with its incumbent chief Dr Roland Chia facing off Innocent Makajil, Brett Chua and Darell Liking.
Chia is a dentist, Makajil is the former district chief for Penampang, Chua a businessman whose family owns and runs the CKS chain of supermarkets, while Liking is a lawyer.
