IT was truly a story of a dream comes true for a local entrepreneur here, when he struck the Diriwan 88 jackpot for a whopping RM1.15 million, last Saturday.
This was especially true, as the regular punter of Diriwan 88 had a week ago dreamt of striking the jackpot and even gave out ang pows to his parents and relatives. He thus considered this a premonition that he was going to win some big money before the year ends.
The lucky entrepreneur had earlier also won RM90,000 on SABAH 4D during the Chinese New Year period early this year.
According to a brief statement issued by the Diriwan Corporation here yesterday, the lucky punter was completely stunned and lost for words upon realizing that he had hit the jackpot while checking his winning ticket online at www.lotto88.com.
And his wife thought he was joking when he contacted her to inform her about the exciting news.
His winning combination was 2,3,19,25,39 and 43. And the best part was, it was a ‘quick pick’ ticket which he bought from one of its outlets in Kepayan. The Winning Numbers were drawn on 04 September 2010 (Saturday), Draw No. 1468/10, for SABAH Lotto 6/45 Jackpot of RM1, 150,150.50.
When asked how he plans to spend the winning money, he told the Diriwan officials that he plans to bring his family for a holiday trip during this Hari Raya holidays.
