SABAH DAP Vice Chairman, Edward Ewol Mujie reminded house owners in Kota Kinabalu to check with the Kota Kinabalu City Council or DBKK before doing anything which involves among others renovation of their houses, constructing new structures or repositioning of the boundary fences.

Edward Ewol Mujie who is also Sabah DAP Bureau local government and housing was the former secretary of MPKK (now DBKK). He said this after inspecting the house in Lot 243 Lorong Unta 8, Taman Yun Kiong, Luyang today 19th October 2010.

A house owner had come to Sabah DAP to seek assistance concerning a neighbour’s mango tree at Lot 231. According to him, the mature tree has never fruited. The leaves are falling into my compound which he has to sweep and dispose daily.

The main problem is that the leaves are caught inside his gutter, cause a blockage and become rusty. The rain water is now overflowing and has also affected the woods. The house owner claimed that he has replaced the gutter and woods on three occasions and each repair cost him no less than RM800.00.

Edward Ewol Mujie who was accompanied by Sabah DAP Publicity Secretary Dr. Edwin Bosi and Sabah DAP Moyog Chief Henry Mogindol urges DBKK to check out this complaint. He feels that it is best if DBKK keeps on a vigilant on any activities within the housing estate in the Kota Kinabalu rating area.
