SAPP, JOKE OF THE YEAR!

AFTER losing miserably in Batu Sapi SAPP President Datuk Yong Teck Lee and other SAPP leaders have not been short of making ridiculous statements. The latest is when SAPP made a desperate attempt to discredit Pakatan by trying to brand Pakatan Rakyat together with BN to topple a Sabah-based party.

According to Sabah DAP KK Youth Chief, Junz Wong, this is indeed the joke of the year. It clearly shows that SAPP has run out of ideas in trying to stay relevant with the Sabah voters.

SAPP accusation is not only baseless but does not make any political sense at all. Every Malaysians know Pakatan Rakyat is the only national party which has been fighting and has the endurance against BN. Pakatan Rakyat is already governing four States and is more than capable to govern at the Federal level.

What makes SAPP think that it takes two national giants to join hands to defeat them? It has always been a 2-horse race from the very beginning and the miserable performance from SAPP amplifies this.

Why is SAPP so concerned if Pakatan Raykat was trying to attack SAPP during the by-election campaign? First of all, SAPP has misled the public by talking about autonomy and ‘Sabah for Sabahans’ during the parliamentary by-election.

SAPP winning in this by-election will not make any inroad nor impact at all to the political landscape. Thus, SAPP action to contest has put its interest above the peoples' interests and has inevitably caused a split vote to enable BN to win easily.

The entry of SAPP in the by-election is probably one of the reasons for the low voter turnout who are disinterested to participate in the Batu Sapi by-election knowing BN would win with its hands down. SAPP selfish attempt to test water has backfired.

Our national leaders have been fighting for Malaysia's future long before the Batu Sapi By-election. Leaders like Lim Kit Siang has practically dedicated his whole life to fight for justice and the future of a better Malaysia.

SAPP on the other hand is not helping to topple the UMNO-BN government by continuing to be outside the framework of Pakatan Rakyat. By working as a separate opposition party SAPP can be deemed to continue to be a spoiler and a ‘friend’ to BN.

Now that it has been proven through the ballot box that SAPP and ‘Taiko Yong’ do not have the command of even the Chinese voters in Batu Sapi.
