TAKING your child to the park is one of the great parental joys of life. Watching your child play with other kids, laughing and making friends is a wonderful sight. But this wonderful sight cannot be seen at Penampang playground because of the poor maintenance of playground equipment often contributed to many avoidable injuries.
Despite Penampang residents are paying their housing assessment every year, but years after years situation remain very much the same, town council are not keen to providing the basic maintenance to the playground.
Obviously, it seem to be no supervision of contactor performance, playground maintenance checklist and [ah loong] bunting can be seen all the way from Penampang to Luyang and it is pointless to decorating the main road but neglecting the community neighborhood basic maintenances.
The elected people representative in this zone is only responsive to the needs of the people during election time and likely they will make the same promise again during the next coming election for the same problem. The people have seen the representative that they voted did not carry out their duties as promise.
A lot of complaint on infrastructure and other issue has make to show the dissatisfaction but the authorities either take a long time to respond or just ignore it. It is about time to make a change and we, Sabah DAP urged the Sabahan to vote for Pakatan Rakyat for a batter future.
