BAD BALAIRAYA REFLECT BN REPUTATION?

BAD…. Edward inspecting the bad condition of the Balai Raya in Kg. Keliagau.

By: DAP MEDIA

SABAH DAP Vice Chairman, Edward Ewol Mujie received complaints from residents living in the Kg. Keliagau, Menggatal, some 10 miles from Kota Kinabalu City. They complained the bad condition of the various facilities and infra structure in and around the densely populated kampong there.

The Balai Raya in the Kampong Keliagau looks abandoned and is in a very poor condition. The electric wiring and switches had been destroyed, and electrical fittings disappeared. There is no door and windows to keep the hall locked. The roof is leaking everyway and water is collected on the floor. The whole surrounding is being neglected and overgrown with weed and grass.

During the inspection there, Edward was brought to see the poor road condition and road side drains. The kampong folks told him that the authorities had not come to maintain the road and drains here for quite some time already.

Edward urges the relevant authorities to act immediately to repair the community hall so that the people here can use the hall for their function and gathering. The authorities cannot just pretend that there is nothing needed to be done in Kampong Keliagau and forget about their needs.
