SMALL FISH SYNDROM RUIN MACC IMAGE

Dear Editor,

WITH refer to the STAR newspaper, Datuk Seri Nazri Mohamed Aziz said the graft investigation by Custom officer must continue despite the incident of a Selangor assistant director who was in charge of Port Klang had fallen to his death at MACC office yesterday morning.

The call by Prime Minister's Department Datuk Seri Nazri that MACC must continue investigating the KDRM graft involving billion of ringgit is the right time and correct stand.

Here,We hope Datuk Seri Nazri Mohamed will instruct MACC to investigate Kastam Director General too and not all the small fish in his Department were rope in.

The Kastam DG is believed to have bought a lots of property oversea and he put million and million of cash in oversea bank as well. Just imagine that the several senior custom officer have almost a million cash found in the house including gold bar, watches and that amount maybe is the week collection and how about not kept in the house? If the senior custom officer have almost a million cash in hand and we think the Director General will have billion in his house.

If the Goverment is serious in combating graft in Malaysia goverment department the Kastam DG should be investigate too as lots of case of misuse of power and corruption in Sarawak when is the State custom Director. We think the Sarawakian know who is Dato’ Khalid and his Kroni as well in Bintulu, Sibu and Kuching.

If the Kastam DG is not investigated by MACC that's mean MACC is going for small fish and double standard job as now our Prime Minister already give MACC the full power to investigate even Tan sir or the cabinet minister without fear.

We hope the MACC to act fast to nap the Kastam King Shark before he escape from the net as he is going to retire soon.

Regards,

ANTI CORRUPTION CITIZEN.
