THE President of PKR Dato’ Seri Wan Azizah and the KK MP with the Pakatan Rakyat team walked the Putatan Tamu to pay a visit to the people in the Tamu ground last Saturday. They were welcome by the people in the Tamu and the people approached the group with their requests and problems that they are facing and hope to receive help from the PR leaders.

Dato’ Seri Wan Azizah is frequently visiting Sabah and get right down to the grass root to learn more about the hardship of the people. This will enable the future PR government, both in the federal level and state level, to plan and implement policies to bring the people out from difficulties and poverty.

KK MP Hiew King Cheu said he encountered many pressing issues that is affecting the population here in Sabah and it is the people that he is concerned about. There are many sickening situation where the people are in deep difficulty and hardship.

There is no help provided by the government and the poor people have no way to turn to for help. He received complaints mostly on the government aid for the elderly and the poor. The people said they are not receiving the money on time and it is a few months without payment to them. Some said that their money has been cut by the agent and they received a smaller amount instead. Hiew said he will check on this case.

Hiew also received complaints on not having enough car parking spaces in Putatan, and it is getting more difficult to find a parking space nowadays. He urges the Putatan council to immediately see to it and seek more open space to convert into car parks. It is better to do it now before the town is turned into a jammed packed area like KK City where you can’t find a single parking space in peak hours.
