AGROMATE NOT DEAL WITH ILLEGAL FERTILIZER?





Dear Sirs,

WE act for Agromate (M) Sdn Bhd of 910-912, Block E, Phileo Damansara 1, No. 9, Jalan 16/11 off Jalan Damansara, 46350 Petaling Jaya, Selangor with a business address at MDLD 5124, KM 5%, Jalan Tengah Nipah, 91100 Lahad Datu, Sabah.

We are instructed by our Client that on or about 8.1 1.201 1 you have published in your website the above stated Article (Chinese Chambers' Dalangi Baja Haram). We are further instructed that the said Article refers to illegal fertilizer transport operations from the Port of Lahad Datu to warehouses in Middle Road and Jalan Nipah Dam.

Amongst the photographs included in the said Article was a photograph of our Clients’ warehouse which is situated at MDLD 5124, KM 5%, Jalan Tengah Nipah, 91100 Lahad Datu, Sabah and not Middle Road or Jalan Nipah Dam.

The inclusion of our Clients’ warehouse has given the impression that our Clients are also involved in such illegal fertilizer transport operations which our Clients strongly deny and objects to being represented as such.

We are further instructed that neither the author of the said Article nor anyone from your organisation had contacted our Clients regarding their involvement (which in any event is denied) in any such illegal fertilizer transport operations.

In the premise, our Clients say that the inclusion of the photograph of our Clients’ warehouse in the said Article was made recklessly without any regard towards the impact the said inclusion has caused or may have on our Clients` business and reputation.

We are instructed to demand that you remove the photograph of our Clients’ warehouse from the said Article and from your website within 7 days from the date of this letter.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that if you fail to do so we are instructed to proceed with court action against you for damages without further reference.

  1. If this is the misuse of photographs that was associated with the company's image, than perhaps the pictures should be removed?

  4. Clearly now the people who wrote the original article acted with malice intent to discredit the mentioned company. Pity Sabahkini is at the repercussion end.
