NADIRAH’S FATHER CLEARED, TO BE DEPORTED

POLICE today cleared the father of Nurul Nadirah Abdullah of the toddler’s murder but the Filipino man will now deported for entering the country illegally, according to a Bernama Online report.

The man was one of four people detained earlier over the kidnap and murder of young Nadirah, whose charred remains were found in an oil palm estate in Masai on March 8, a week after she went missing.

“We forwarded the investigation papers to the Public Prosecutor who instructed that he be deported to his country of origin as soon as possible,” state police chief Datuk Mohd Mokhtar Mohd Shariff was quoted saying in the report.

Mohd Mokhtar also said that police have since arrested the killers, who are set to be prosecuted soon.

“The three drug addicts were found positive of methamphetamine and ice. They are between 30 and 40-years old,” the police chief said previously.

He said the suspects led police to the location of the burnt body. Police later matched the DNA with Nadirah’s mother, 25-year-old Roselyn Alan.

Five-year-old Nadirah went missing on March 1 after going alone to a grocery store near her flat to buy some instant noodles.

  1. Hopefully those murders who are responsible of the murder of Nadirah will be given due punishment for their cruel doings.

  2. If the man is also a suspect in this case, shouldn't the police wait until the case is proven before deporting him?
