A FOUR-YEAR old boy who loved animals, that was left playing with his neighbour's kittens, suffered multiple stab wounds.
The Sun reported the boy, Toby, was allegedly attacked with a knife, after his dad went on a mere ten-minute shopping trip. The incident happened in the United Kingdom.
Upon returning from the shopping trip, the father, David Blythe, 44, found Toby had been rushed to hospital.
The boy had been staggering into the street screaming. with blood gushing from his head, neck and both sides of his lower body.
David, who rushed to see his son, said, “I thought he was going to die.”
Toby was last night in a serious but stable condition. He added he has absolutely no idea why Toby was attacked.
“The neighbour I left him with seemed an OK guy. He knew Toby liked animals and I didn’t have a problem leaving Toby at his place so he could play with the kittens," he said.
A 51-year-old man was arrested at the scene. A police spokesman said: “We do not think other parties are involved.” (The Sun)
