POLICE TASERS MAN WHO HELD WIFE AT KNIFEPOINT

CONVINCE....A cop trying to convince the man to release his wife.

A MAN held a knife to his wife’s throat during a tense stand-off with police. Sakdawut Hamsiri, 30, held his terrified partner hostage for six hours on a street in Thai capital Bangkok before cops eventually Tasered him.

It was claimed he had been under the influence of drugs when he pointed the 10in blade at Thawee Naiyanit, as shocked crowds gathered nearby.

Hamsiri had refused repeated requests by cops to release Thawee. He was taken to a police station for questioning. (thesun.co.uk)
