ANDY LAU is confirmed to
star in his first Hollywood film. The new daddy is playing the role of a
well-known Chinese scientist in Iron Man 3, whose job is to strengthen the
armour and weapons of the superhero.
The scientist (Andy) is also
an old friend of Iron Man. Ben Kingsley will play the villain's role as The
Mandarin.
As the film is a joint
venture between Hollywood and China, there will be a few more Chinese artistes
like Fan Bingbing and Yang Mi in the film.
One of them will play Andy's
wife while another his assistant.
The film, which will also be
shot in Beijing and Shanghai, is about the daughter of Iron Man's friend being
kidnapped and taken to China, and how
the comic hero saves the girl with help from Andy.
The film is expected to be
