LDP PUJI KEBERANIAN NAJIB BERHUBUNG RCI

PRESIDEN LDP, Datuk Liew Vui Kiong berkata tindakan karismatik dan usaha gigih Perdana Menteri Malaysia, Dato’ Seri Mohd Najib Tun Abdul Razak menubuhkan Suruhanjaya Siasatan Diraja (RCI) mengenai pendatang asing harus disambut baik oleh semua pihak.

"Inilah jalan terbaik untuk menyelesaikan isu besar yang tertangguh sejak sekian lama dan menjadi modal lapuk pembangkang setiap kali menjelang PRU," kata V.K Liew dalam satu temuramah khas dengan Sabahkini.Net ketika diminta pandangannya berhubung keputusan Perdana Menteri memenuhi aspirasi rakyat Sabah.

Bagaimanapun kata V.K.Liew, untuk menyelesaikan kes ini bukan semudah yang disangkakan kerana isu ini sudah lama berlarutan dan berakar umbi dalam sistem sosial dan menjadi ancaman keselamatan negara setelah generasi pertama melahirkan beberapa generasi berikutnya; apatah lagi tanpa sistem dokumentasi yang betul.

"Apapun terpulanglah atas kebijaksanaan Perdana Menteri untuk mengambil langkah pengawasan dan pencegahan selanjutnya agar tidak lagi mendatangkan ancaman kepada keselamatan kepada rakyat Sabah," kata V.K.Liew yang menyanjung tinggi keberanian Perdana Menteri mengumumkan penubuhan RCI ketika kemarahan rakyat Sabah memuncak; apatah lagi ketika Malaysia berada di ambang PRU-13.

  1. Hopefully the RCI will be set up as promised by Najib, once the Terms of Reference have been finalize, the RCI will be launched officially.

  2. I do agree with V.K Liew that its not easy to solve this case as it has been a major problem for decades. But we hope the RCI can help reduce some of these issues.

  3. Saya sendiri pun memang memuju PM kita kerana beliau telah memberikan respon yang baik bagi penubuhan RCI.

  4. Najib baru 3 tahun memegang jawatan PM tapi telah banyak pembaharuan yang beliau laksanakan.. bukan saja pemansiuhan ISA, penubuhan PSC, penggunaan dakwat kekal malah penubuhan RCI untuk Sabah yang selama ini gagal dilaksanakan oleh pemimpin2 sebelum beliau..

  5. Head of State Tun Juhar Mahiruddin aserted that the perennial issue of illegal immigrants in Sabah must be handled in a collective manner and at the same time resolved wisely.

  6. This issue has been taken seriusly both by the State and Federal Governments and have taken integrated action to address the situation.

  8. The problem must be settled together and wisely, everyone must be prepared to render firm co-operation to ensure the illegal immigrant issue would be overcome for the sake of our wellbeing and prosperity.

  9. The illegal immigrant issue has become a focal point among the State Barisan Nasional (BN) component parties and almost all have agreed to the setting up of a Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) to investigate it.

  13. Information Chief, Datuk Johnny Mositun of PBS would like to urge the Minister-in-charge-of law who was reportedly assigned to prepare the necessary such as the Terms of Reference (TOR) and commission panel members to do so as soon as possible.

  15. The question of the efficiency if this Royal Commission is still too early to determined due to the a fact that the Royal Commission of being restricted by the Term Of Reference. Until this TOR has been finalized, one can only speculate, just as before before the anouncement of the RCI.

  16. The way I see it, This RCI is not a definite solution to the question of illegal immigrants; but I believe that this RCI serves to look into the issue that concerns it.

  17. Hopefully with the findings of this form of public inquiry, it will have a significant impact on policy as well as action plans burrently undertaken both by state and federal level to handle this question.
