WATER-HOMES INVESTMENT FOR SABAHANS

KOTA KINABALU: Kuala Lumpur Metro Group is in the city to market its 641 units of water-homes built above the sea of the Straits of Malacca.

Sales and marketing manager Loh Koon Wan said The Hibiscus at Port Dickson is the largest iconic mega resort project of its kind in Malaysia, ideally located at Malaysia’s hot tourism spot, Port Dickson in Negeri Sembilan, and easily accessible via the North-South Highway and Seremban-Port Dickson Highway.

It is also 35 minutes drive from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport.

“With a tagline of  ‘Spectacular Living Above The Sea’, The Hibiscus at Port Dickson spectacularly stretches across a 43-acre pristine beachfront in a secluded nook of Pasir Panjang.

This is a 100-acre, five-star development that offers spacious water-home units ranging from 770 sq ft onwards. The entire development has also set a new record of sort by being the largest water resort homes in Malaysia.

“The hallmark attraction of these water-homes is the private pool and en-suite steam sauna room that accompanies each individual unit. Indoor facilities include a coffee house-cum-restaurant, a pub and bistro, a Japanese restaurant, a concierge counter and lobby lounge, a grand ballroom, a business centre, a convenience store, a library and function rooms,” said Loh, adding that the outdoor facilities included an adult landscaped-pool, children’s pool, a gymnasium, gazebo and BBQ pits.

With its array of luxurious resort and amenities, The Hibiscus at Post Dickson is scheduled for completion in December 2013 and targets at least five per cent of investors to hail from major Asia-Pacific regions, including those from the Arabian Gulf and South Asia.

The Kuala Lumpur Metro Groups’s recent trips to Dubai, the United Kingdom, Australia, Hong Kong and Jakarta had been tremendously successful, with many investors awed by this iconic water-homes project.

Loh added that an attractive package, which included a financing mortgage, plus a total guaranteed 28 per cent rental returns for the first four years and an average rental returns of 12.8 per cent for the next 11 years, awaited investors and buyers.

The development also has great capital appreciation potential, with an average of 13 per cent to 15 per cent returns per year.

“This is one of the best properties for Sabahans to invest, and we will be here until July 1 at Hyatt Regency Kinabalu Cempaka Room  from 10am to 7pm,” said Loh. (theborneopost)

  1. This concept is similar to the Kampung Air we have in Sabah. If done properly, it could be an interesting resort concept, make sure it has proper plumbing and sewerage system.
