LDP, 'WOLVES' IN 'SHEEP’S CLOTHING'.

By : DENIS GIMPAH

CORPORATE figure, Datuk Dr. Richard Gunting led more than 500 former members from BN component parties (PBS, UPKO, PBRS and UMNO) in the Pensiangan Parliamentary constituency who left BN  to join APS on Friday at a gathering attended by PKR Adviser YB Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim, YB Datuk Seri Panglima Wilfred Bumburing and several other State APS Leaders.

Also joining APS with Dr. Richard Gunting is UPKO Pensiangan Deputy Chief, Liberty Lopog.  The ceremony which also attracted more than 2,500 other supporters of Pakatan Rakyat who attended the function held at the a field next to the APS Office in Nabawan shows that the majority of the people in Pensiangan are ready to join hands with other Pakatan Rakyat supporters in other part of Sabah to change the present government by voting Pakatan Rakyat Candidates in the coming 13th General Election.

Meanwhile, LDP’s statement about Pakatan Rakyat wanting to form what they term as 'Frog Government' at that they alleged that the action by Lajim and Bumburing to quit BN as being not wise is nothing more than empty rhetoric on the part of LDP leaders.

The current political situation at the moment is not about Sabahan being worried about 'frogs' politics but more about stopping politics of intimidation, about 'wolves' politicians in 'sheep’s clothing'.

Sabahans for all this while know and aware that LDP and their leaders have not been seen as being the 'goog fellas' in as far as UMNO-BN’s political books is concern. But they are forced to bow down to their UMNO masters at the expanse of their member’s wishes and the rakyat as a whole.

PM Najib is now often coming to Sabah to woo the voters in Sabah and to hoodwink them with promises of development projects; cash payouts at each gathering and who knows what else are being promised to Sabahans knowing very well that the BN in Peninsular will inevitably defeated by PR in the coming election.

The logical decision for Sabahans if they want real development in every aspect of their social, economic and cultural well-beings is to give Pakatan Rakyat the mandate to govern the country after GE13. The PR administered States in Peninsular is proof that given the chance, PR would be a better government that BN.
