Foh Sang Shop back lane drain is clear of rubbish

The dirty and floating with plenty of rubbish Foh Sang back lane drain is now finally clear and clean. This is after the Drainage and Irrigation Department (DID) sent in their excavator and work team upon the request made by the MCA ADUN Luyang Assemblyman office.

The MCA Luyang Assemblyman Dr. Hiew King Cheu thanks the DID and DBKK for making the arrangement to clear this rubbish filled drain next to the shop. This drain is constantly giving out foul smell affecting the eatery shops here in Foh Sang.

Anyhow, the MCA Adun Luyang office has already put up many stickers and notices here along the drain, and urging the people here not to throw any more rubbish into the drain. The drain is not a rubbish dump, and this rubbish cannot be washed away in this dry weather. We all suffered due to those who don’t follow the right way of disposing their waste and rubbish.

Hiew reminds the people that it is very costly for the authorities to clear the drains, and it is our tax payers’ money to do that, therefore we must be considerate and should keep our environment clean by not simply throwing rubbish everyway.
