NRD FOR ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS?

By: Joe Fernandez

It seems clear from the RCI that the NRD maintains two systems in its databank. For example, one for legitimate applicants and the other for backdoor applicants and maintained in Putrajaya.

After perhaps three generations, when it's difficult to trace any hanky panky, the names from the illegal system can easily be transferred by Putrajaya to the main system.

If anyone, the Court for example, catches up with the NRD before a name is transferred to the main system, the standard answer would be: 'this IC is not in our records'.

The existence of the two systems side by side is the only reason for the extraordinary population explosion in Sabah since 1963.
