SABAH Progressive Party (SAPP) Youth Leader Edward Dagul today seeks clarification from Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) on its policy that illegal immigrants will be given permanent residency (PR) status if Pakatan Rakyat forms the government as disclosed by PKR President.
“Illegals are illegals and as such, action should be taken to curb illegal immigration. If illegals are to be granted PR status, then even more illegals will be attracted to Sabah, adding to the woes of Sabah,” said Dagul.
Recently an announcement was made by PKR President Datuk Seri Wan Azizah Wan Ismail at the closing ceremony of the PKR Sabah convention and launching of Buku Jingga Sabah (Sabah Orange Book) at the Borneo Paradise Beach Resort.
She had stressed PKR was serious to set up a royal commission to overcome the illegal immigrants issue by offering permanent resident status without any right to vote.
Mengapa kita masih mahu memberikan kewarganegaraan kepada mereka?
ReplyDeleteAre they qualified to get PR?
ReplyDeleteSabah will surely be crowded with illegals if they were to be granted a PR.
ReplyDeleteI don't think offering permanent resident status without any right to vote could overcome the illegal immigrants issue.
ReplyDeletesemua pasti tidak bersetuju jika golongan tersebut diberikan status PR.
ReplyDeleteUntuk mendapatkan status PR perlu mematuhi syarat2 yg tertentu. Memberi mereka ni status PR ada kebaikan & keburukan. Jila lebih bnyk keburukan, tidak payah bg.
ReplyDeletewith the announcement made by Azizah, Sabahan should know what to do in the next general election. don't ever vote this party..
ReplyDeletejika begini sampai bila masalah PATI takkan selesai.
ReplyDeleteBetter no need to give they nationality for Illegal immigrant..So KDN must take note for this problem..
ReplyDeleteHow can illegals be given PR status? We wanted the problem solved, not encourage more illegals to come.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure Sabahans will never agree to do this.
