ANOTHER PBS LEADER JOINT APS






JOINT..... Banaran Handing his Application form to Join APS to APS Deputy President DatukMaijol Mahap witnessed by several APS Supreme Council Members last Friday.

PARTI Bersatu Sabah (PBS) Vice-Chairman for Nabawan Division, Ismail Banaran, 59,  has resigned from his post effective January 31, 2013 when he personally handed his letter of resignation to the PBS Head Office.

The following day, February 1, 2013 he officially joined Angkatan Perubahan Sabah (APS).

Banaran said he have lost confidence in capability of the PBS leadership in pursuing the struggle of the Kadazandusun-Murut (KDM) community based on the original struggles that resulted in the  formation of PBS in early 1980s.

Banaran who was among the first Murut to join PBS  when it was first formed to faced the might of the Berjaya-BN government then said that the first gathering of PBS was held at his house in Topokon Tamparuli.

Since then he have been an active member of PBS and was part ofbthe PBS Divisional committee members in Nabawan since then his last post being the Vice-Chairman I which he held since 2006 when he relinquished it last Thursday.

Banaran, a retiree, and who is expected to be appointed the Nabawan APS Chairman said he will help to strengthen the APS Nabawan division and would formulate a program to relay to the Murut community their aspiration and struggle by supporting the Malaysian Agendas for Sabah and sarawak which has been adopted by APS, an NGO that is now alligned to the opposition Pakatan Rakyat (PR).

Banaran said he strongly believe that, "APS is the only channel where our native community, especially the Murut coomunity of which I belong, can voice out their grieviances and where we can positively believe that our future direction will clearly given thebright attention," he lamented.
