BRIDGE TO HEAVEN?

BROKEN..... Edward and Andrew show the broken bridge.

THE RESIDENTS of Kg Kalansanan had complaint to Sabah DAP State Vice Chairman Edward Ewol Mujie regarding the bad wooden bridge and needed to repair.

This matter has been brought to him during his and MP KK Hiew King Cheu special assistant, Andrew Lee walkabout at the kampung.  They said the bad condition of the bridge has been existing for many years and although they had complaint to their elected representative as well as to the authorities concerned but up to date there is no sign of the bridge been repaired.

The residents told them that a signboard was put up last year and stated there the bridge will be upgraded by the City Hall, but until today no sign of any work has been done.

Edward said his team tried to walk on the bridge but a few meter they gave up as the bridge was shaking and sound of cracking can be heard as they walk.  So they turned back as they frightened that any part of the bridge brake and they will fall.

They noted that there are missing planks at the entrance of the bridge.  The residents are very angry and disappointed that the authority has not repair the bridge as they said that they also do not feel safe to use the bridge especially at night.  They wonder why the signboard that stating the bridge will upgraded and not work has stated.

Edward urge the authority to make good the promise as stated in the signboard.   This reflects that the BN Government only gives promise but never fulfilled.  He said that the people can no longer fooled by this tactic and his wish to remained the authority that 13th General Election is just around the corner.  (DAP Media)
