JOHNNY GOH, ARE YOU SLEEPING?

REPAIR….Jalan Kg Tampulan/Kiulu needed urgent repair.

By : DAP MEDIA

A VISIT by the Sabah DAP team to the remote villages in Ulu Telipok, the many bad roads in the area came as a real shock to the Vice chairman Edward Ewol Mujie and his team member. The conditions of these kampong roads are real bad and there were no maintenance provided for a long time according to the kampong folks here.

The Jalan Bungolin Logkou Timbok road has a short stretch of about one kilometer long road on both sides of the Sg Timbok Bridge had not been sealed with asphalt. There are deep potholes and big stone on the road.

The drivers find it difficult to travel on this road especially on rainy days. It is hard to believe such a short road that the government can’t take care to seal the surface after so many years.

The Jalan Kg Kebayau and the Jalan Kg Tampulan/Kiulu is real bad and the small cars find it difficult to pass through. Although there is a sign board showing the upgrading work had been carried but there is no sight of a proper road. The poor kampong folks continue to pry on these bad roads everyday.

GRAVEL…..Unsealed Jalan Bungolin Logkou Timbok.

Edward Mujie asked why these roads are not being upgraded and given a sealed premix top. The government has not been taking care of the kampong roads which are so near to the Telipok town. These roads are serving so many people in the area and it is their only access.

This only reflected that the local Inanam Assemblyman Datuk Johnny Goh Chin Lok is not discharging his duties fully and the people there said he had not helped the kampongs here.

The BN government is really not doing any good to the folks here, and they will not support the BN further even thought there are promises coming in the next election. They are truly fed up with the empty promises.

Edward said it is no point to come during election to tell the people what BN can do for them, and forget their words after gaining power. We have heard this all over Sabah and the people are saying ‘enough is enough’.

This is another proof of the BN’s bad management and irresponsible attitude towards the people. The BN had totally failed the people who had voted for them. This is the time to change them and sack them out from office, and to bring in a new group of people to manage Sabah and Malaysia.
