LOI IK TAI RETURNING HOME TO BINTULU

THE UNFORTUNATE kindergarten teacher, Loi Ik Tai who was knocked down on the head by a no-parking sign pole in Damai, Kota Kinabalu 3 months ago is returning home on the 23rd of September 2011 to her home in Bintulu Sarawak.

This unfortunate case raised much attention from many people who sympathized on her, and it is sad that her head and brain had sustained heavy damages. After surgery and being hospitalized for more than 3 months now in KK, the family finally decided to bring her back to the Bintulu home put her under the care of the family themselves.

The father Loi Teck Onn and family expressed their heartiest thanks towards the people who had given the family assistance and help during the hardest time faced by them. This was disclosed during the handing over of the statement of account on the money raised by the parents, teachers, donors, and the management board of the Tadika Tsu Yu Persepadu where the unfortunate teacher was teaching.

The total amount raised was coming near to RM53,000 which was used partly to pay for her expenses and hospital bills, and to hand over the account and the balance of the money to her father was the Kindergarten Management Board Chairperson Mdm Wong Ing Hung along with other board members, teachers, and witnessed by the Kota Kinabalu Member of Parliament Hiew King Cheu and Edward Ewol Mujie.

On the other hand, Loi also took the opportunity to thank each and every one who had help his daughter in many ways, and especially those kind hearted people who had generously contributed financial help to the family, and also not forgetting the doctors and nurses in both the QEH and the SMC.

MP Hiew said the QE hospital had made arrangement to fly her back to Bintulu on the 23rd Sept, and he wishes her well and pray for her recovery.
