SABAH POLITICIAN OUTHANDS?

Dear Editor,

IT is clearly show how Sabah is developing since year 1970 until now and the politics seem to be outhands. let us look from Berjaya time until to PBS and UMNO came in. The story is always the same, the rakyat will overjoy to winners but never learn from past mistake. Whenever money is concern it is likely OK to them. They will never look at different perspective. Sabah is left out of development compare to west malaysian, Rakyat Sabah please open your mind, open your heart whether your really a Sabahans minded. Salute to Tan Sri Simon for the brave heart person willing to speak for people of Sabah. Cheers. FG

  1. True enough. I'm totally agree with this. There should be someone or some group or some party to be blame for. It has been almost 47 years since Independent when Borneo (Sabah & Sarawak) together with Malaya (also known as Tanah Melayu) establish/formed a nation we call Malaysia as it today. That time, according to TS Simon Sipaun, Sabah and Sarawak is not least than semenanjung in term of development. Currently, you can definitely see the difference between Borneo, particularly Sabah compared with development in Malaya. What do we have after almost 47 years? We have Mini Putrajaya, Yes, but they have PUTRAJAYA. We have wisma Muis, they have menara kuala lumpur. we have wisma bandaraya, well, they have menara berkembar petronas. We have newly renewed railway and a new train (2nd hand china made), they have LRT, MRT, ERT, Modern railway and a newly made train. They even have a train that only for women. and the list is go on and on. We are even lost the Labuan Island. And petronas paying us a yearly royalty that for me only can considered as compensation. What we can highly proud for? Absolutely yes. It is the illegal immigrant and the high cost of living in Sabah. Young people cant buy a house because of the double pricing.

  7. I guess our state already a rich and a modern state 10 times compared to Japan and South Korea if we have all our ADUN and MP a mindset and prospective of thinking like this Hanroizin. Someone who is easily forget the past and do not care about the important things that happened long ago. I hope, he is not easily forget the history of Malaysia, especially what happened in Sabah over the past 47 years. I tell you, learn from the past and "do not forget it". That is why we have the History Textbook at school. If someone stabbed you from back to take your money, and if you are lucky to survive that, please remember and stick it in your mind that, you should beware of thief and robbers at any time and anywhere. and one more thing, do you think that, federal government will simply hear you and acting like what you are demands for. No, they did not. Just look what happened when Bumburing submitting the Memorandum of PATI to the federal, to the KDN, Bumburing demanding for a RCI. Hisham said, there is no need to establish a RCI. I remember what hisham said at the past parliament season, he said, there is no PATI obtain a MyKAD at Sabah. He even defy Bumburing to show evidence so that KDN can act based on the evidence. At the end what happened? You know it.

  8. so then blame the rakyat who made the decision to join Malaysia 47 years ago.. they should be blamed for supporting the Cobbold Commission. and Sipaun should be the next chief minister as he is the only one who can turn Sabah to be as 47 years ago.
