PUTRAJAYA OWES SABAH RM 152 BILLION

Dear Editor,

FEDERAL Constitution 10th Schedule Part IV Pharagraph 2 (1) has provided that two-fifth of revenue derived from Sabah by the Federation, will be granted to Sabah each year. After 1965 when Malaysia ceased to exist broken with the departure of Singapore this 2/5 of revenue share was defaulted in 1969 under the Emergency of May 13 under the Razak dictatorship up to now. This 2/5 including Patronas revenue derived from Sabah for 2010 would amount to more than RM 4.5 billion and over the years up to 16 Sept. 2011 would be RM 152 billion.

Regards,

JEO FERNANDEZ
