Cyberjaya," kata pegawai khas Azmin, Muhammad Hilman Idham.

Kota Kinabalu: Upko wants Datuk Seri Mohamed Nazri Abdul Aziz to focus on his new task as Tourism Minister, especially his thrust to promote Sabah, and let the Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) deal with the illegal immigrant problem in Sabah.
ReplyDeleteUpko (United Pasokmomogun Kadazandusun and Murut Organisation) Sec-Gen Datuk Wilfred Madius Tangau said this in response to Monday's report quoting Mohd Nazri as saying illegal immigrants should not be allowed to stay in Sabah a day longer but that at the same time Malaysia has a duty to care for them under the Geneva Convention.
Mohd Nazri, during a press conference held after his visit at Gaya Street Sunday Fair, had also said he knows about the illegal immigrant issue in Sabah and he is definitely against Sabah being flooded with especially illegals and that there is no compromise that they should be repatriated.
But to chase them is not easy because while there are illegal immigrants in Sabah there are also stateless people, said Mohd Nazri, adding the State Government has to be consulted before any action is carried out because "if not we will have no workers in the plantations.
"The new Tourism Minister (Mohd Nazri) is now fully focused on his new task and Upko would like to see him fulfilling his new thrust promoting Sabah as a national endeavour," said Madius, following public query that Mohd Nazri seems to give an impression that the government would not or not be able to act even after the ongoing RCI concludes its investigation on the illegal immigrant problem in Sabah.
ReplyDelete"On illegal immigrants our commitment is to ensure that all recommendations made by the RCI are implemented," added the Tuaran MP.
It's premature to talk about the full list of recommendations at this stage because the RCI is still conducting public investigation with more than 100 witnesses, said Madius.
Meanwhile, Api Api Assemblywoman Christina Liew advised Mohd Nazri to be consistent with his or the Barisan Nasional (BN) government's stand on the illegals issue in Sabah and stop the lip service.
ReplyDelete"By now it is obvious to everyone who actually created the problem for Sabah and for what reason," she said in response to Mohd Nazri's lament on the illegal immigrant problem in Sabah.
Liew, who is also Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) Kota Kinabalu Division Chief, said to eradicate the illegals problem in Sabah is not late if the Government is not lacking in political will.
ReplyDelete"The government needs to use its political will to carry out what they must do and only then we can see results.
No point talking only, as we had heard lip service over the same problems for yearsÉthis is time for action, walk the talk, not offer lip service," she said.
DENGAR khabar
Mari kita sama-sama fikir-fikirkan.
