The new concrete walkway provided for the students of SJK (c) Shan Tao to walk back to the Kepayan Ridge Low Cost Flats is completed and ready for use in the coming new school year 2015.

This is arranged by the MCA Luyang Assemblyman Hiew King Cheu following a request by the school to construct a clean and safe walkway for the students. This is because the students have to walk home to the flats through muddy ground and walked down the slippery earth slope which is very dangerous.
The worst part is that these students had to cross the big drain using a piece of old wooden door. It is not very safe even thought it is a short distance to walk, and the students often went to school with dirty muddy shoes.
The new walkway, the concrete staircase, and the new concrete bridge have eventually solved all the problems for the school.
