YOUNG LAWYER JOINT DAP LABUAN

MEMBER.... Wong handing over the membership forms.

SABAH DAP has a new recruit in its FT Labuan Branch. This bright new blood in politic is a local born from Labuan, and he is a practicing young lawyer of age 27.

The new recruit MR Wong Kwan Kit has officially joined the DAP Labuan branch yesterday by handing over his life-membership application form along with four others to the DAP Labuan Chief Lau Seng Kiat, and the simple ceremony was witnessed by the Sabah DAP Advisor cum KK MP Hiew King Cheu and the Sabah DAP Vice Chairman Edward Ewol Mujie. Other PR members present were from PAS Matusin and Hadnan, and from PKR too.

KK MP Hiew said he is delighted to see more and more professionals and capable people are contributing positively to the DAP politic and spirit to have a clean and fair government. This is nopt only talk only but these people are coming forward with true spirit and wanted to work hard towards a better Malaysia and bright future.

In fact, Sabah DAP welcomes those who are willing to bright Malaysia into a new era and advancement and we expected those who can contribute to join in the big exercise to change Malaysia.

Wong Kwan Kit expressed his view that although he is still new in politic but he hopes he can learn more from the experienced leaders of the DAP, and he doesn’t mind hard work at all. Indeed, he had proved himself by walking the whole Pasar Tani on Sunday morning and round the shops in Labuan with Hiew and Edward sweating all over.

Later, he also led the Pakatan Rakyat team to other parts of the Labuan Island to inspect the location of complaints and which included the visit to the Labuan Hospital later in the afternoon. Hiew liked his style of performance, and said that he is the person just right for the DAP.

The other good news is that the FT Labuan Pakatan Rakyat has formed the PR Election committee and ready in full operation. Hj Hadnan is the secretary of the committee, and various plans have been prepared to meet the election when it comes.

The committee is visiting various kampongs in Labuan on a regular basis. MP Hiew urged the committee to carry out the new voter registration regularly and to ensure all the young people can vote in the coming general election. (DAP Media)
