IT IS VERY obvious that a political party is behind PEKIDA Sabah Chairman, Datu Akjan Ali Muhammad in objecting the establishment of Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI), claimed Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) Supreme Council member, Peter Marajin.
“No wonder despite the calls by all parties and all concerned Sabahans to form the RCI, this particular political party and its leaders from top to bottom, from national to branch level in Sabah are completely mute and unresponsive.
“Now they are making use of Akjan, who was an illegal himself and greatly benefitted from this hidden agenda of tilting the Sabah population into a Muslim majority, to stop the RCI,” he claimed.
“What would the so-called Sabah leaders form PBS, UPKO, PBRS and LDP have to say on this? Are they still prepared to play their 'sandiwara' just to perpetuate their positions in the government at the expense of Sabahans, our children and future generation?” he asked.
As far as Akjan is concerned, Peter said he should first answer why he was arrested under the ISA in 1995 for his involvement in manufacturing fake IC for foreigners before making any further denial.
