ALL POLICE reports lodged against Batu Sapu PAS Chief, Hamzah Abdullah for allegedly insulting Head Of State Tun Juhar Mahiruddin and the institution of the palace have been forwarde to the Malaysian Communication Multimedia Commission (MCMC).
City Police Chief, ACP Ahmad Sofi Zakaria, said police have channelled all the reports made against Hamzah this week to MCMC for further action.
On Wednesday, the Head of State's Aide de Camp (ADC) Major Herman Bombang first lodged a police report against Hamzah after he was informed by a friend about a statement by Hamzah published in a portal known as Sabahkini.net, last month.
Apart from Herman, two local businessman, Hamdin Abd Kadir, 60, and Azmi KK Juatan, 41, also lodged police reports at Penampang on Thursday. Both called on the relevant authorities to take firm action against Hamzah for insulting Tun Juhar and having no respect for the institution of the palace. Persatuan Tidung Sabah also lodged a similar report at the Karamunsing police station at 8 am.
