SABAH DAP Vice Chairman, Edward Ewol Mujie representing a group of 58 members of two Hash Runner Clubs donated a sum of RM1,000 to the father Loi Teck Onn of the ill-fated kindergarten teacher.

These hash runners have done a on-the-spot collection which is so meaningful and heart touching to assist the bed ridden unfortunate kindergarten teacher Loi Ik Thai who was knocked by a ‘No Parking’ sign pole in Damai, Kota Kinabalu seven weeks ago. They hope she will recover soon with the God’s blessing and with the kind hearts of the people here.

She is still in a coma until today, but her condition is improving by very slowly. She is still in the SMC under the care of the doctors and her family members.

Edward and the KK MP Hiew King Cheu visited her today and found her condition still far from recovery and seem promising because she is showing some sign of reflex after her serious head injuries. There will be a long way to go before she will be fully recovered.

MP Hiew said the Sabah DAP Christian members will go to the hospital to visit her and to pray for her and for her early recovery. Teacher Loi is also a Christian. Her father Loi Tck Onn expressed his gratitude and thanks towards those who had help in many ways to assist his daughter to recover from this unfortunate incident. There is nothing much he can say but he and his family can only say thank you very much.
