KOTA KINABALU: Dewan Pemuda
“Banyak peruntukkan
diberikan secara one-off kepada rakyat. Tetapi, lagi banyak sebenarnya
ujar beliau.
Bagi maksud tersebut, beliau
mendesak supaya kerajaan memainkan perhatian khusus mengenai keperluan asas
“Kita melihat, banyak projek
perumahan baru bakal didirikan.
1 Oktober.
“Ini yang dikatakan...
rakyat didahulukan,” sinis beliau.
This is an absurd claims! See what this BN leader said about Budget 2013 benefits for Sabah & Sarawak:
ReplyDeleteSarawak United People's Party (SUPP) president, Datuk Seri Peter Chin Fah Kui said the budget would help to lower the price of goods with the allocation by the government to subsidise transportation costs of essential items in Sabah, Sarawak and the Federal Territory of Labuan.
We should be grateful that the government is giving out RM250 cash for the youths too.
DeleteDurian runtuh ini harus dikawal.
DeleteThe Budget 2013 emphasis on the welfare of the people in Sabah and Sarawak and it would not only spur the economy of the people in both states to a higher level but also help them to enhance their livelihood for a better future.
ReplyDeletePeter Chin Fah Kui has said that:
ReplyDelete"Education-wise, the allocation to upgrade schools should be lauded, considering that the facilities in some schools, students' hostels and teachers' quarters in the interior of Sarawak are of lower standard,"
PBRS president,Tan Sri Joseph Kurup on the other hand has welcomed the expansion of the 1Malaysia People's Shop (KR1M) to Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan.
ReplyDeleteJoseph Kurup added that:
ReplyDelete"Besides the KRIM, the standardisation of prices and provision of tranportation subsidy will benefit the people of Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan especially those in the interior."
I tend to disagree.
ReplyDeletePersonally this budget has create good things for Sabah.
ReplyDeleteIf you compare the budget between Msia and US, I think we have a strong government.
ReplyDeleteExpectations are high that it will be a budget pleasing to voters, since Malaysia has to hold its general elections within the next seven months before April 2013.

ReplyDeleteIn tabling the largest ever proposal at the state assembly meeting, Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman said the budget was committed to serving the needs of the people and continuing the push for development.
ReplyDelete"It also takes into consideration the present global economic challenges and uncertainties," said Musa who presented the budget in slightly over an hour at the state legislative sitting.
ReplyDeleteThe proposal was anchored on continuing a similar people-centric and development-oriented budget for this year, which stood at a record RM4.048 billion last year.
ReplyDeleteHe said the key objective of the budget would be to strengthen the state's financial position, improve basic infrastructure and public amenities as well as accelerate the three-pronged state agenda or "halatuju".
ReplyDeleteThe development of quality youth and human capital, eradication of poverty and improving the quality of life for the people would also be given focus.
ReplyDelete"RM1.412 billion will be allocated to various infrastructure development programmes and public amenities that will provide the maximum impact at uplifting the quality of life for the people."
ReplyDeleteThe budget will also focus on tourism and manufacturing, rural development programmes to eradicate poverty, human capital development and general welfare programmes.
ReplyDeleteMusa, who is also Sabah's finance minister, said a large chunk of the budget would be spent on programmes aimed at prospering the state and ensuring the wellbeing of the people.
ReplyDeleteMusa also announced a one-and-a-half month bonus for the near 20,000 employees of the state's civil service. The first instalment of half a month was paid in advance in August while the remainder will be paid in December and January next year.
ReplyDelete"The civil service play the main role in implementing plans laid out by the government and it is only fair that they are rewarded with the bonus."
ReplyDeleteHe also cited six government departments as exemplary, having earned four-star ratings under the government Accountability Index last year.
ReplyDeleteThe departments were the state secretary's office, state Public Service department, state Treasury Department, Government Printing Department, Kudat Town Board and the Rural Development Corporation.
