DAP Sabah is amazed that The Health Ministry is organizing nationwide roadshows to promote 1Care national health insurance scheme.
DAP Sabah state assistant secretary Junz Wong slammed Health Minister Liow Tiong Lai that he has issued statements barely 2months ago that 1Care was only a concept, still a preliminary planning stage and kept telling the public not to speculate the issue. Now your Ministry is launching 1Care in a roadshow nationwide?
Junz claimed that 1Care is another scheme similar to GST policy, was an additional form of tax, aiming directly at the pockets of Rakyat.
This scheme if implemented, would be asking people to pay for their own healthcare so BN government can reduce National budget allocations.
Junz Wong who is also DAPSY KK assistant Youth Chief wanted Health Ministry to reveal the agendas & details on the roadshow.
Junz reminded Health Ministry that providing people with adequate healthcare and hospital facilities, is social responsibility of the ruling government.
Rakyat want Health Minister to come clean with this 1Care insurance scheme. Junz concluded.
I think the 1Care still in review and not implemented yet.

ReplyDeleteif I'm not mistaken, this 1Care scheme is not compulsory.. so there should be no problem..
