IT IS heartening to see that finally our ‘dear leader’ Dr Jeffrey Kitingan will have his own political vehicle, STAR, to stand in the coming general elections.
As activist of 71 years old, i am delighted to welcome this new year with so much optimism that some good changes are finally dawning onto my beloved state Sabah. In my humblest opinion, Dr Jeffrey among all leaders we have on Sabah autonomy and rights are the most deserving of support from the people of Sabah, and Sarawak too.
I am saying so because more often than not, our political landscape has been littered with selfish politicians who fought their ways to the power only to enrich themselves and their immediate families, sacrificing the state. Sometimes these Sabahan leaders, trampled on their own state sovereignty in pursuance of their own agenda.
But here we have a state national leader who fought it like a gentleman and never stepped back even though he was incarcerated in jail for speaking up for Sabahans.
I am calling all the activists of yesteryears and now wise veterans to come forward and give some morale support to this man and his new vehicle to face the impending elections, which may determine if we are to be treated better or worse after this.
Leaders with wisdom and foresight are not plenty around nowadays. What are we waiting for. The time to act together is now and the history-makers we wait are but ourselves. So let us come to Hongkod Koisaan this Friday and witness another milestone in our modern day fight for survival not so much for old man like me but for our future generations.
ReplyDeleteAll the best to JK and his fights.
ReplyDeleteDeserves or not up to people choice.
ReplyDeleteGood luck
ReplyDeletebagaimana dengan UBF? mungkin puas hatilah Jeffrey ni bila beliau sudah tubuhkan parti politik sendiri. tiada lagi lompat2 parti lepas ni.
