WE would like to complaint some travel agency in Sabah advertise the price in the newspaper to Perth or China during coming Chinese new year around RM3,000 per person but when we call the travel agency to booked they tell us that the price exclude Tour guide Tip, entrance fee to some sightseeing or theme park.
After adding and it come to around RM 3,700 to China and for Perth around RM4,700 per person. How can they advertise exclude this and that and not just advertise all the total price for the whole trip and not to confuse people.
Sabah Travel agency always advertise low fare in newspaper but infact the price is not as low as they advertise. some optional sightseeing which we don't want to join and was told by the travel agency is a must and we feel that if a must they should advertise everything in for the whole trip as they have already check the pricing with China or Perth for the entrance fee and if not that's mean they simply charge us.
We hope the tourism ministry department and the consumer association to look in to this matter seriously which we think is like cheating people, for example, can a hotel advertise in newspaper RM200 per nite at promotion rate and when you check in the hotel receptionist telling you the price advertise exclude towel, shampoo, bed sheet and pillow?
I am sure the travel agency know how much per pax before they organize the trip.we hope the Tourism Ministry will check it out themselves whether our complaint is true or not.
