WHY not ask Dr Jeffrey Kitingan himself about the resignation instead of running stories from sources or his aides? Since Jeffrey himself did not confirm that he has resigned, it would not be fair to describe him as fickle-minded, doing an about-turn on his resignation or ‘not funny any longer’.
He didn't resign. So, again, the question of being fickle-minded or doing an about-turn or ‘no longer being funny’ does not arise. People saying that they have copies of his resignation letter is not good enough.
Jeffrey remains PKR member, Pensiangan division chief and de facto PKR chief Sabah and Sarawak. He's not expecting anything from Anwar Ibrahim. His struggle is not about posts and positions but the issues, the people, principles, priorities and policies.This is what he told me many times.
If Jeffrey resigns, he will email a nice long letter as in late 2009. Unless you get a copy of such an email, it would not be accurate to run any quit stories.
Jeffrey is now more into grooming the younger generation.
