OPENING….Dr. Hiew and DAP members during the officiating of the KK MP Service Centre 2 in Inanam.

IN order to upgrade the service of the Kota Kinabalu Parliamentary service by the Member of Parliament office, Dr. Hiew King Cheu the KK MP has widened and extended its service to cover areas outside the KK constituency by setting up the Service Centre No.2 in Inanam. The service centre No.1 is situated in the Foh Sang shop lot, Luyang, KK.
The launching of the office in Inanam was officially declared open by the MP Dr. Hiew on the 2nd of January 2011. The function was attended by members from the various Sabah DAP branches in Inanam which comprising of Inanam, Sepanggar and Karambunai branch.
The office is strategically located in the Inanam town to serve the people in Inanam, Menggatal, Telipok, Sepanggar and the Karambunai areas where they can not reach the Foh Sang office with their complaint and seeking help from the KK MP. Besides, there are many KK voters who are working and residing in the Inanam area.
Dr. Hiew said that since he is the lone opposition MP in Sabah, he has the obligation to serve the people not only in KK but for the whole of Sabah. He has been covering the whole state by responding to the various request and complaint.
Edward Ewol Mujie, the Sabah DAP Vice chairman will be manning the KK MP Service centre 2. The office will provide the services like filling up of government application form, assist in trading licenses, declaration forms etc.. There are books for reference and the ‘Rocket’ newspaper for the reading. All are welcome to come to the office to discuss your complaints and suggestions.
The office also carried an important task of registering young and new voters. Any person who is not registered as a voter should come to this office to get themselves registered as a voter to exercise their right as a citizen of Malaysia, and to elect a good government to ensure their good future and well being.
