SNAP today announces that it is willing to join a cabinet headed by Baru Bian as Chief Minister. The notion that Baru Bian is to be the Chief Minister has been agreed upon by Pakatan Rakyat Sarawak. This is because SNAP is a member of Pakatan Rakyat Sarawak.
PKR is spoiling the chances of Pakatan by contesting in too many seats and causing a split in the opposition votes. SNAP only fielded candidates in 26 areas. But PKR fielded 49 candidates which reduce the chances of Pakatan Rakyat Sarawak to win in the majority of the seats they contest.
In the event that PKR wins very few seats, and SNAP captures more seats within the opposition front, SNAP will offer DAP, PAS and PKR to jointly govern Sarawak.
It is hereby assured that SNAP strongly subscribes to the struggle of Pakatan Rakyat Sarawak.
