menyampaikan sumbangan kepada seorang bapa tunggal pada majlis Hari Raya di Kg
Jempanga, Beaufort.

Pembangunan Masyarakat dan Hal Ehwal Pengguna Sabah, Datuk Azizah Mohd Dun
menegaskan bahawa rakyat di sini tidak menderita di bawah pemerintahan kerajaan
Barisan Nasional.
Ketika menyatakan perkara
itu Azizah yang juga Ahli dewan Undangan Negeri (Adun) Klias berkata sejak pemerintahan BN di negeri ini rakyat di
kawasan yang diwakilinya hidup dalam keaadaan sejahtera dan telah banyak
menikmati perubahan dan pembagunan.
“Rakyat di Beaufort ini
tidak menderita malah rakyat di sini cukup beruntung kerana mendapt nkmat
pembangunan dari kerajaan BN. Kita lihat dari masa ke semasa pembangunan
terus dilaksanakan seperti pembinaan
jalan raya contoh ke Kg Batu 60 yang
memakan belanja RM82 juta yang akan memberi keselesaan kepada peduduk,” katanya
pada majlis sambutan Hari Raya Aidilfitri di Kampung Jempanga, di sini.

Umno Bahagian Beaufort, Isnin Aliasnih; Setiausaha Umno Bahagian Beaufort Jali
Nordin; Timbalan Pengarah Jabatan Perkhidmatan Kebajikan Am (JPKA) Sabah, Mohd
Nor Wahab; Ketua Anak Negeri, Nazir Udui, pemimpin komponen BN Beaufort dan Pengerusi
Penganjur, Jewffry silingan.
Azizah yang juga Ketua
Pergerakan Wanita Umno Beaufort itu berkata bahawa hubungan peminpin masyarakat dan wakil rakyat
di kawasan Dun Klias dalam keadaan yang kukuh sekali gus membuktikan bahawa
ianya membuktikan sokongan padu rakyat akar umbi.
“Saya juga amat berharap
rakyat pelbagai kaum sentiasa bersatu padu dan bersatu hati. Jalinkan hubungan
perpaduan kerana tanpa perpaduan kita tidak akan dapat menikmati kesejahteraan
hidup malam sebaliknya akan menjadi mundur dan ketinggalan,” katanya.
Pada majlis itu Azizah
menyampaikan sumbangan kepada lapan penduduk kurang bernasib baik terdiri
daripada warga emas, ibu tunggal dan bapa tunggal. Kanak-kanak yang hadir turut
menerima duit raya daripada Azizah.

On a lighter note, Musa said while he represented one of the Sandakan’s constituencies, Beaufort held a special place in his heart as his birth place. “So it’s like my hometown.
“If everything is calm and good, I leave the leaders there to handle things, but if there are issues, I won’t hesitate to go to the ground myself,” he quipped.
He also stressed that it was important for people in the constituency to make smart decision for the good of their future.

ReplyDeleteIsnin who took over the leadership following Datuk Seri Lajim Ukin’s exit from BN, also expressed confidence that BN would be able to defend the seat from falling to the opposition in the coming election.

Giving a metaphor, Isnin said: “The former captain may have abandoned ship to join another fleet, but rest assured we who are left behind are capable of steering the wheel.”
