RADIN HIDE HARD-CORE IN MELALAP?

SABAH DAP Dr. Benjamin Yapp questions the credibility of Datuk Radin Malleh, ADUN Melalap relating to Sabah DAP's media statements for Melalap Constituency.

Sabah DAP interior Parliamentary Liaison Chief for Keningau and Tenom, Dr Benjamin Yapp said, they got the facts ‘CORRECT’ and had obtained many photographs and feedback from the local residents in Tenom concerning problems facing the rural communities with the actual facts when he and his Mobile Service team visited various areas in and around Tenom.

Sabah DAP interior mobile service team is sincere, and concerned to give our unfailing, voluntary services to the local communities. We should instead be appreciated by Datuk Radin in complementing with the BN Government to ensure that the local communities were happy, and satisfied with whatever suggestions, constructive criticisms and information that Sabah DAP could furnish to the authorities concerned.

"Please be reasonable, and do not treat us as useless citizens or, organization as we are serving the rakyat," commented Dr Benjamin Yapp.

" I am NOT new in politics, and I know what I am doing for the interest of the rakyat", said Dr Benjamin Yapp, who was the formerly PBRS Vice-President and ex-BN Liaison Committee member for kota Kinabalu for the past 12 years.

It was not fair for Datuk Radin to simply make unsound judgment on the credibility of Sabah DAP. Do not underestimate Sabah DAP leaders as they are qualified, experienced and are people of high caliber and integrity.

As regards to the hard-core poor family who made a complaint to Sabah DAP, we had already contacted the house-hold, named Liaming, aged 45 years old, a local Murut resident from Kampung Lagud, Melalap who claimed to have been living at that dilapidated hut at Kampung Lagud, Malalap without the basic infrastructure and amenities since 2005 without any PPRT assistance.

When contacted by Dr. Benjamin today, he was advised to personally approach Datuk Radin Malleh to seek for his assistance in order to obtain a decent house.

Sabah DAP urged the Assemblyman for Melalap could offer him the assistance he needed to obtain PPRT in order to build a decent home for his poor family. Sabah DAP would appreciate if Datuk Radin could immediately do something for this hard-core poor family without wasting time in unnecessary arguments as there were many problems that needed his urgent attention for the benefits of our hard-core poor in the interior.
