EDUCATION BACK TO STONE AGE TIME

Dear Editor,

I wish to ask what are all this State and Federal Ministers doing as far as english education in Malaysia is concern? Everytime whenever here's a new education minister, our school system will be change from bad to worse. Year 1979 was my last MCE in English medium. Those days English standard of form 6 was very high and as equivalent to a degree now a day.

Government always talking about globalization, asking businessmen to venture into international yet when our standard of English are about just to improve now we are about to go back to stone age time.

This is depriving our lower income families children rights to become excel in their study to become a successful professional figure or businessman or even a politician. But most of the Minister's, Datuk's, Director's children’s are sent to overseas to study good English using our tax payers monies.

If we want to change from English to Bahasa Malaysia version then this minister's, datuk's, director's children’s should also study in our local university instead of wasting public funds to overseas on scholarship.

Vision 2020 will not be achieve if a un open-minded minister took charge of the our schooling system. School system should not have mixed with racial or politic or else our future children’s will suffer. Malaysia will lose out to other national.
