TUN FUAD PARK ENTRANCE HORRIBLE

SPOILED….. Edward and members inspecting the spoiled road.

By : DAP MEDIA

THE road entrance leading to the Putera Theatre and Restaurant in the Tun Fuad Park, Bukit Padang real bad and cars are finding difficult to pass through the deep pot holes next to the round about at the entrance.

Sabah DAP Vice Chairman cum the Local Government and Housing Bureau Chief Edward Ewol Mujie and his team visited the location and witnessed the cars are really having a difficult time to find their way through the deep pot holes on the road. Edward said he can not understand why the deep potholes cannot be sealed up at advance after so many complaints had been filed to the authorities.

At least the business operators in the Tun Fuad Park can take the initiatives to repair the road entrance, if DBKK refused and ignored to repair the broken road entrance to the car parks and open market.

What is the road maintenance contractor appointed by DBKK doing? Is he only taking the lump sum payment and not have to do any work? Then that must be a high benefit job, and what is DBKK going to do about this?

In Kota Kinabalu City there are more and more bad roads now, why can’t there be something done positively and efficiently. If the road maintenance cannot execute their appointed work, we will have to change and discharge the contractor, unless the authorities cannot control the contractor.

They should be sacked if they do not perform and deliver. We can not afford to have these lazy contractors around because they are wasting public fund. There are many other complaints received for non-performance and bad road everywhere.

Edward said we are going back to the PBS time when PBS was the opposition state government where we saw bad roads everyway. Why this is happening again and the straight answer is that BN is not doing their job properly. There is something seriously wrong due to the BN administration, and we are the one who suffered heavily.

In the real fact why should we suffer, while we are in the modern era? Some simple potholes on the road can reflect the efficiency, the capability, and the level of responsibility of the BN government. Other government in the region had improved and having advance government management skill to produce good roads, and why can’t we do that?

Edward said we must change otherwise we shall never improve under the BN rule.
