MORE INVESTMENTS FROM THE US







DISCUSSION.... Chief Minister Musa Aman in discussion with American Ambassador to Malaysia Paul W. Jones.

CHIEF MINISTER Datuk Seri Panglima Musa Haji Aman briefly met the American Ambassador to Malaysia, His Excellency Datuk Paul W. Jones at his office in Wisma Innoprise yesterday.

The two explored areas where Sabah and the United States can cooperate, especially in the tourism and education sectors.

Musa said he would particularly welcome cooperation in the three key economic sectors of agriculture, manufacturing and tourism. He mentioned the investment from a US company, Darden Inc. in lobster farming as a good start and hoped more would follow.

Jones praised Malaysia, saying that the time he has spent here so far has been great.

He said  while in Kota Kinabalu, he would visit five schools selected to participate in the Micro Scholarship for the English Programme. (Insight Sabah)
