ALTHOUGH an actual date for the rumoured event has not been set but it’s possible the unveiling of Apple’s iPad 3 will take place within the first week of March, and not on Feb 29 as initially speculated.
Sources also told All Things D that the media event is likely to be held at the Yerba Buena Centre for the Arts in San Francisco, and that the gadget is expected to ship a week or so after the announcement.
Specs wise, sources revealed that it will be pretty like the rumoured specifications that have been toyed around on the web: a 2048 x 1536 retina display (in line with the iPhone 4 and 4S), improved graphics processor, faster chip, and a form factor that’s very similar to the iPad 2. (AGENCIES)
