TARAF SOSIO EKONOMI RAKYAT MENINGKAT

DISAMBUT .... Musa dan Faridah diiringi Hamad (belakang Musa) semasa ketibaan untuk perasmian.

KETUA Menteri Sabah, Datuk Seri Musa Haji Aman, berkata sambutan baik dan penglibatan masyarakat negeri ini di dalam pelaburan Amanah Saham Nasional Berhad (ASNB) membuktikan bahawa peningkatan taraf sosio-ekonomi rakyat.

Menurut beliau, perkembangan ini tentunya menyumbang prestasi pertumbuhan dan memperkukuhkan ekonomi apatah lagi negeri ini mempunyai ramai pelabur unit dalam amanah ASNB.

Beliau berharap Minggu Saham Amanah Malaysia (MSAM) dan pelbagai inisiatif yang dilaksanakan pihak Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB) dapat meningkatkan kesedaran kepada rakyat negeri ini, khususnya golongan bumiputera untuk turut menabung, melabur dan merancang kewangan dengan lebih berkesan.

“Saya percaya kunjungan PNB dan syarikat-syarikatnya ke Sabah akan memberi impak positif kepada lapisan rakyat di negeri ini. Kerajaan Negeri mengalu-alukan penganjuran MSAM pada 20 April yang akan dihadiri oleh Perdana Menteri dan Timbalan Perdana Menteri.

“Justeru, saya menyeru semua pihak supaya memberikan sokongan yang jitu bagi menjayakan penganjuran MSAM 2012 di negeri ini. Saya juga percaya dengan komitmen dan kesungguhan, matlamat program itu akan tercapai sekaligus memberikan manfaat kepada lapisan rakyat,” katanya.

Berucap di Majlis Bersama Kumpulan PNB sempena MSAM 2012 di Dewan Serbaguna Sri Libaran, dekat sini, kelmarin beliau berkata dengan pengalaman 34 tahun, PNB bukan sahaja mengurus dan menjaga simpanan serta pelaburan dengan berhemat, cekap dan bijaksana malahan telah mendidik masyarakat tentang ilmu-ilmu pelaburan dan perancangan kewangan yang berkesan.

Di antaranya menerusi unit-unit dalam Amanah Saham Wawasan 2020, Amanah Saham Malaysia, Amanah Saham Didik, Amanah Saham Bumiputera dan Amanah Saham 1Malaysia.

“Tidak ketinggalan Skim Amanah Rakyat 1Malaysia atau SARA 1Malaysia yang menawarkan pinjaman pelaburan bagi menggalakkan penglibatan rakyat berpendapatan rendah untuk melabur dalam Amanah Saham 1Malaysia yang diurus PNB,” katanya.

Musa yang juga Menteri Kewangan Negeri dimaklumkan PNB telah melabur lebih 200 syarikat melibatkan pelbagai aktiviti dan sektor ekonomi.

Ketua Menteri gembira apabila dimaklumkan bahawa Sabah mempunyai ramai pelabur dalam unit amanah ASNB.

Hadir sama Presiden dan Ketua Eksekutif Kumpulan PNB, Tan Sri Hamad Kama Piah Che Othman, isteri Musa iaitu Datin Seri Hajah Faridah Tussin termasuk pemimpin-pemimpin Barisan Nasional (BN); pegawai kerajaan negeri serta persekutuan.

  1. Amongst other things, Sabah’s per capita income in 2010 went up from RM14,829 to RM17,242. And during the same period, the rate of unemployment also dropped from 5.6 per cent to 5.4 per cent. Apart from that, Sabah had already spent 75.5 per cent of the state allocation and 74.9 per cent of federal allocation to undertake development projects last year.

    1. Head of State Tun Haji Juhar Haji Mahiruddin pointed out (during opening the first sitting of the State Legislative Assembly’s fifth session) that Sabah must shift from the low value commodity-based economy to one of high value and innovative that was knowledge- based.

    2. Tun Juhar said the dependence on several major commodities alone would not strengthen the state’s economy. And, he also stressed the need for development of the industrial and service sectors. As a state that is rich with natural resources, Sabah has the edge to further develop these two sectors.

    5. Tun Juhar also said RM77.5 billion was needed to carry out 31 entry point projects (EPPs) in Sabah.The federal government would provide eight per cent of the amount to assist the private sector to kick off the projects.

    6. A comprehensive implementation plan for each of EPP is ready and the private sector must seize the opportunity to invest in these EPP projects. The EPPs, Tun Juhar said, would create 144,000 jobs by 2020.

    Sabah memerlukan syarikat besaran untuk membuat pelaburan di Sabah.

  7. Projek SDC pasti mengalak leih banyak pelabur ke Sabah. Sistem Infra harus diperbaiki supaya pelabur lebih beryakin.

  13. pasti masih ramai lagi yang berminat untuk melabur tapi tidak dapat berbuat demikian kerana kurang pendedahan..
