AN ENGINEER in Hong Kong has pleaded guilty to having sex with a 12-year-old girl. Cheng Chi Chung, 29, sought sex services from a prostitution website when his wife was away on a business trip.
He requested for two teenagers to go to his house on Aug 29, last year. One of the girls who was sent by the online pimp, happened to be only 12 years and eight months old. She was identified only as 'X' by the court when the case came up for hearing.
Despite knowing the age of the girl and that she was then menstruating, he Cheng still had sex with her without any protection. He later gave the girls a total of HK$1,500 (RM581).
Cheng pleaded guilty to having sex with a girl below 13 on Friday. The court has fixed March 16, for sentencing.
The court also heard that 'X' met a woman at a park after she ran away from home in August last year. The woman persuaded 'X' to go into prostituition and that was how the girl ended up going to Cheng's house.
'X' was found by her family two weeks later and she revealed to police what she had done to survive while away from home. Cheng was eventually arrested. (Oriental Daily)
