THE PAKATAN Rakyat
candidates in Kota Kinabalu are organizing a joint ceramah in the Putra Theatre
in Bukit Padang on the Monday, 29th April, 2013 to speak to the people during
this election period, and at the same time to explain why we must change and
remove the BN from government.
The special guest for the
ceramah event will be Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim, the Selangor state
ex-Mentri Besar. The rest of the speakers are the calons from Pakatan Rakyat
with P172 Kota Kinabalu Parliament - Jimmy Wong Sze Phin, N14 Likas - Wong Hong
Zun, N15 Api Api - Christina Liew, N16 Luyang - Hiew King Cheu, N13 Inanam -
Jeffrey Kumin, N17 Tanjong Aru - Hamid Ismail and N19 Kepayan - Dr. Edwin Bosi,
P173 Putatan - Dr. Joseph Lee Han Kyun and P174 Penampang - Derall Leiking.
The night function will
introduce all the candidates contesting in the many seats within the Kota
Kinabalu area, and they will highlight the many issues concerning the current
and future political situation in Sabah, especially Tan Sri Khalid will talk
more about his experience in running the Selangor State Government for 5 years.
In fact, no one will dare to
say Pakatan Rakyat has no experience to run a state government. We have run a
state government and managed it well, and now we are ready to run a national
and federal government for the people if we were given the mandate during this
13th general election.
In making this statement,
the N16 Luyang candidate Hiew King Cheu urges the voters to put their hands and
minds together to vote singly for the Pakatan Rakyat and allow PR to serve the
people in the state and in the federal level. We can bring about changes if we
are to be given the mandate.
The votes must be solid and
do not split among the people because of the interference caused by some other
small local parties and independents. It is important that PR must beat the BN
for a bright future.
The good news is that the 50
table dinner is sponsored by some Pakatan Rakyat strong supporters. Due to
limited table sitting capacity, we have arranged for additional side-sitting
without food being served. It is advisable to come early to secure your seat on
the table.
This is on a “first come
first serve basis”! The program will start from 7.30pm to 11.00pm. Hope
everyone will come to support the dinner function. It is also good that our
guests coming to the dinner ceramah shall share their cars to avoid traffic
jam. (DAP Media)
