The cable sitting on the signboard.
A CABLE not sure whether it
is a telephone or electric cable is sitting on top of a road signboard near the
Tamparuli to Ranau roundabout. This cable has already damaged the top part of
the signboard and it has created much concern about the people here.
They said if really the
cable is cut by the sharp edge of the signboard, there will be big problem and
poses danger. If the cable is a telecom cable, this means thousands of phone
lines will be cut and no phones can be used here. What happen if it is a SESB
power cable? There will be more danger and the power supply will be cut and the
people seriously being affected.
The Sabah DAP Tuaran Chief
cum Vice Chairman, Peter Liew Fui Ken went for the inspection after receiving
complaint from concern people here. He said who can the departments concerned
did not notice this at all and how can they install signboard and lined the
cable in such a manner.
It is an unprofessional job
that will cause danger, losses, and inconveniences to the people. This is an
act of negligence and must be corrected and put right immediately before
something serious happen.
Peter Liew further stressed
that DAP always here to serve, no matter how big or small the issue is. If
small issues are not dealt with, these will soon become big issues in no time.

ReplyDeleteKalau tengok tempat lain, banyak lagi ada kabel yang bahaya macam ni. jadi, bagus cek dan selenggara sebelum ada yang kena renjatan elektrik dan sebagainya.

ReplyDeleteSESB harus memastikan perkara ini dapat dibaiki. Ini boleh mengancam keselamatan pengguna dikawasan tersebut.

ReplyDeletebuat dulu aduan.. kalau masih tidak ada tindakan, barulah war2kan di media.. kes seperti ini, kalau tidak diajukan, mana la pihak bertanggungjawab tahu.. mereka pun bergantung dengan aduan orang awam..
ReplyDeletejika Peter Liew Fui Ken profesional sangat, kenapa bukan dia saja yang membetulkan kebel atau papan tanda itu?? ada banyak punca yang boleh menyebabkan kabel itu bersentuh dengan papan tanda itu.. tidak semestinya papan tanda itu sengaja diletakkan begitu..
