MALAM PAKATAN RAKYAT IN KUDAT IS POSTPONED

In view of the forth coming Batu Sapi by-election in Sandakan and on its importance to Pakatan Rakyat to wrest the Parliament seat from Barisan Nasional (BN), the dinner function originally planned on the 23rd of October 2010 which is to be attended by. Lim Kit Siang and other senior PR leaders is now postponed to a later date and shall be made know to the members and supporters in Kudat.

Announcing this by the Sabah DAP chief cum Kota Kinabalu MP, he said the postponement is unavoidable due to the PR leadership will all gather in Sandakan to assist the campaign work and on all preparation work. Many ‘heavy weight’ PR leaders are expected to come to station in Sandakan to ensure a victory for the Pakatan Rakyat in the by-election.

He apologized for the inconvenience and promised that Lim Kit Siang will come to visit Kota Belud, Kota Murudu, and Kudat soonest possible even thought he has a very tight schedule.

Dr. Hiew said PR will work hard towards a victory in Batu Sapi by-election and also do not take it lightly due to the fact that the opponents are not weak, further more SAPP might join in the by-election to split the votes.

He said there might be many corners fight, but he hopes other political parties and individuals may take into consideration to allow Pakatan Rakyat to take on BN one-to-one, a big step to advance for a change of a future new government. This is due to the by-election will reflect the possibility of bringing in a new government, and demonstrate the determination of the people for a change in the government.

We shall use this by-election result to tell the BN government we want to change in order to ‘save Sabah, and save Malaysia’, enough is enough, and Sandakan people in this round should voice their grievances, dismay, anger, suffering and frustration over these many years under BN rules.

Dr. Hiew said he need not elaborate these issues here, and he shall bring it all out during the by-election campaign period. Sandakan people’s problem shall be prevailed.
